1 As I mentioned in class, there seems to be a modest difference of scholarly opinon about the divsiion of labor between Cleanthes and Philo, the two participants who remain activei n the Dialogues to he end.
My personal view, as I also remarked, is that Hume seems to have inclined -- in different philosophical moods, as it were -- to agree with aspects of both theri argguments, with a slight bias toward those of Philo (and my temperamental preference for the latter would apparently be somewhat great than Hume's ).
What do you think of the distribution of roles beetween these two principal participatns?
